farAwayfast is a one man band, consisting of only TeeJay Gawronski on acoustic guitar and vocals.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been in and out of local pop-punk, emo, and ska bands since I was 14 years old. I decided to go solo after I moved from Brick back to my hometown of Rahway. I'm still open to join other bands in the area, and write all types of different music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
not yet with this project. I've played tons of live shows all around the state of New Jersey with bands I was a part of, including: Kid Go Home, My Last Hero, Blue 14, and Thunderduck.
Your musical influences
Well, I personally listen to everything from Bright Eyes to Poison the Well; Acoustic Emo to Hardcore. The music, I suppose, is really influenced by songwriters like Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional), Connor Oberst (Bright Eyes, Desaparecidos), Chris Connelly (saves the day), and Darryl Palumbo of glassJAw.
What equipment do you use?
My Ibanez Acoustic/Electric Guitar.
