Fall Well's Nightmare
Fall Well's Nightmare is a Virginia based band that blend theatrics with heavy, aggressive music to create a show that is interactive and entertaining FWN's members come from varied backgrounds and various bands whose definitive styles compliment the overall sound of their music. Formed in February of 2000 as the brain child of lead singer, Virus, drummer, Monger, guitarist, Lord Die and bassist, BiohaZard; while sitting around with other friends discussing recent shows they had seen came to the conclusion that "the bands of today don't do enough to entertain their audiences" and decided to bring fun and showmanship back to heavy music. Armed with plenty of props inlcuding an electric chair, a guillotine, a coffin and custom made costumes; the band set out to make the above-mentioned statement a reality. Thus the Nightmare was born. Their first live show as Fall Well's Nightmare shocked and quickly won over the crowd, not just with their music but also their appearance and theatrics such as Virus standing over 7 feet tall in full garb, who belted out the vocals and BiohaZard, covered in blood pounding down the foundation of the bands sound. The band recorded their demo at Flat Five Studios in Salem Virginia and soon after a local radio station WROV began playing the track "Hatred Is The Sign" on the regional music program, "The Homegrown Show". And more recently with the recording of a new album in 2006 the bands unreleased track Disgruntled found its way to the current ..5 spot on the TOP 20 Count Down on WCRO Radio in LA. FWN promote themselves via the Fall Well's Nightmare website www.fallwellsnightmare.com and distributing their music through www.cdbaby.com, the FWN website, several clubs and music stores. FWN is currently in the studio hammering out a new album with prospective release date in the fall of 2006. After which they plan to be booking and playing as many shows as possible. Fan reception for the band has been overwhelmingly positive, which leaves FWN striving toward their next goal of signing with a record label and taking their music and performance to a larger audience. There has been a lineup change with Sinister replacing BiohaZard.
