FAKE RAY produce a melancholy as uplifting as it is downtrodden. This London three-piece may have been together for only a year but their ability to craft atmospheric slices of pure, blackout guitar pop songs suggests a lifetimes immersion in great music.
Following a nationwide headline tour and a roadblocked appearance at In The City 04, FAKE RAYs debut limited edition single, recorded with Cameron Blackwood (Death in Vegas, Morrissey), was released on November 29 through North and South. An instant hit with fans and radio, John Kennedy (Xfm) adding it to his Xposure Big Ones list immediately. This limited issue single is a headrush of barbed guitar hooks, fucked-up-romantic lyrics and bleeding machine drums.
