Faith 2 Faith

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Members Bernice Bosworth and Shelley Chaney met while worshipping as members of the Church of Philadelphia in San Jose, California in 1990. They both sang in the choir. They discovered they had similar backgrounds as professional singers. After forming the duet Faith 2 Faith on the concept of having Faith in God from day to day, they were blessed to render songs of praise at many local church events, the first of which was at San Jose's Emmanuel Baptist Church's Down Home Day in July of 1993. During a Christmas Day Production they were teamed with Walter Hughes, Jr. and Lamar Boyd II, whose many original songs are performed by the group as part of their repertoire. The years have been challenging for the group. Lamar Boyd relocated to Chicago, IL and on September 5th 2000 Walter Hughes was called to be with the Lord. Although we are greatly saddened by the loss, the will of the God for F2F forever encourages us. We welcome the addition of Yaneese Dixon, Tacoya Dixon (mother and daughter) and Tony Lubin who blesses us when schedules permit. We are excited to see where the Lord will lead as we live our lives from one Faith to the Next! JOIN US!
