Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Justin and Phil, wanted to start a band, and they were in need of a bassist and a drummer. All associated with the school band, they pulled Jimmy on bass and new found drummer Jared aside to ask if they'd like to join The Deph Americans. They agreed and the name was later changed to failsafe. The bonus of adding Jared was that he happened to be the only member that had been in a band prior to this one. He is the former drummer of Bangor-based, Above the Water. Vocalist Jeremy later went on to joining Soundbender, and guitarist/vocalist Andrew currently promotes Soundbender. Now that Justin and Jimmy have gone on to other things, the new trio is working hard at writing and recording some new songs to get out and show the local scene.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not at this current time. We're writing songs, getting ready for the spring and we'll play some shows. We did play the BHS Talent Show and it was a blast.
