Factory 22
Factory 22 is the love child of Gothic, Heavy Metal, and Hardcore. Take all those genres give them alot of alcohol and after the orgy that follows we are the ones spit out!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Factory 22 actually started about 4 years ago but there were just too many problems inside.We disbanded, myself and Ed (who was our fill in guitarist for the original line up and is now the lead guitarist!) started filling in the empty slots. After a long search we found a line up that works great, we are like family.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live alot and love it. The one time that stands out in my head the most is this show that Malice in Underland opend for us. Halfway through our set their guitarist jumped on stage sporting a giant dildo and proceeded to slap the band with it! It was great, the look on the front rows faces was just beautiful. Needless to say he got it stolen by one of the girls in the front row!
Your musical influences
Pantera, Coal Chamber, The Sisters of Mercy, Type O Negative, Slayer, and early Marilyn Manson just to name a few.
What equipment do you use?
2 guitars(Ryan Sharpe and Ed Johnson), a bass (Joe Ennis), and drums (John Marsalla).
