The band is a loose organization of several local players (pat glenn, dave laurence on bass)(dean northcutt, chris finney, chris XXXX on drums) and j. michael morrison on vocals and guitar. When we gig it goes by seniority and who's available. The formation started in the late 90's. some of the material was written by me "JMM" prior to coming together and some material after. we have no visions of world tours or much distant gigging thanks to the information superhighway. We however have encoded THE universal secrets within the movement of the writing. Our eyes have been cleansed by the trials of life, much as everyone. We have come to the real meaning of it all individualy and portray these truths in the music. we have learned by trial and error to just get out of the way of the songs and let the true meaning be the tune.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
When playing live we have no gimmick. We have no alterior motives. We have no special message that isn't available to everyone. Some like us, some don't. Our purpose is a simple desire to help everyone see we all are really (if naked and bleeding) much the same. We love music, so do you. When hearing music it touches more than the ears.
Your musical influences
love drums and bass...love good, soulful, tasty guitars. love bleeding vocals at a whisper or a primal unleashing of emotion. Listen to everything possible. Keep an open mind Inspiration comes from the air that each one of us breathes.
What equipment do you use?
While blindfolded I played two instruments one valued at $3250 one at $187. One sounded better than the other. From that point on I put no faith in brand names. I do however still have $3063 and the better sounding instrument.
