Band/artist history
EvilMrSod is the solo project and also the alter-ego of Pablo RodrÃguez, singer, guitar player and main composer for Fuckin' Family Faces, the well known rock'n'roll band from Tenerife, Canary Islands, as well as singer and guitar player for Laika Duet, Gay Cowboys, The Ejaculators, Silver Whores, Orange Blues, The Nitty Gritty Mississippiers and Endoflove/hardtotastE, also in Tenerife, and guitar and bass player for Compulsory Skin in Braunschweig (Germany). Created by accident (at least in the beginning), EvilMrSod is a project that tries to explore the acoustic side of the composer, the whispering side of the singer and the ironic side of the lyricist. It has a really country, blues and folk taste. Tryin' to follow the steps of old teachers like Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams Sr, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash or Robert Johnson, but not forgetting current artists like Ben Harper, Chris Whitley, Jolie Holland or Ben Weaver. EvilMrSod is another universe really far from what his main band does. Another universe... but a parallel universe.
