Even Steven was founded in January 2003 by Steven Campeggi, from Redondo Beach, CA. Even Steven was created to target music listeners between 18-50 years old, who are disenfranchised with Rap & Hip-Hop yet desire new music to satisfy their emotional needs. Steven plays piano, organ, synthesizers, acoustic/electric guitars, bass, drums, lead & background vocals. Even Steven's music is primarily alternative rock and power-pop. Music reviewers say Even Steven sounds somewhat like; Peter Gabriel, Seal, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Everything But The Girl, Massive Attack and Led Zeppelin.

None of albums have been released and Steven is pursuing a pressing and distribution contract on all of them. In October 2002, while finalizing my divorce I all of a sudden had a uncontrollable urge to express myself through music, I had never played a musical instrument nor taken a music class, however I honestly believed that I could make better music than what was being released at the time. So between October 2002 and January 2003 I taught myself to play the piano, guitar, bass, drums and vocals.
I was confident enough with my abilities that I formed Even Steven, however I was unable to find any additional bandmemebers which forced me to go it alone and play all of the instruments.
I have been blessed with a musical talent that I can't even begin to explain.
My personal goal is to be a spokesperson for a major label who can get me on the talk shows so I can promote new music to my generation "Baby Boomers" which have essentially stopped buying new music, which has turned the industry upside down.Have you performed in front of an audience?Because I currently play all of the instruments in addition to singing it is impossible for me to play live.
Your musical influences
I do not have any musical influences. I have no education or training in music. I have never played another bands song, nor have I ever played with another musician. I think that is why my music is so original and appealing to people.What equipment do you use?
