Evangelist Sandra Ennis-Nichols
Evangelist Sandra Ennis - Nichols is the daughter of Elmer R. Ennis and the late Pauline Elzey Ennis of Salisbury, MD. Sandra ( affectionately called Sonni by her family and friends ) was licensed as an Evangelist by the Apostle Margaret Johnson, overseer of Salisbury Evangelistic Church of Deliverance in 1997. Evangelist Nichols is currently a member of the Ministerial Staff and a member of the Advisory Board at First Baptist Church located in Salisbury, Maryland, where the Reverend Lewis Nathaniel Watson is the awesome visionary and leader.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have served for 41 years as Minister of Music to the Ennis Family Singers of Salisbury, Maryland , as well as the Musical Directress to the newly formed St. Paul United Methodist Gospel Choir of Berlin, Maryland. I also served as Minister of Music to the St. Luke Gospel Choir of Hebron, Maryland, which traveled and performed in the Virgin Island of St. Thomas. At Livingstone College, I sang and recorded with the Livingstone Gospel Prayer Meeting Choir, directed by the Rev. Dr. Ronald C. Williams II.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. I am the musical directress of the The Daughters of Zion, who lead the Early Morning Service in Praise and Worship at First Baptist Church, Salisbury, MD.
