Hey, I'm Evan and I create acoustic rock. That's the short version, anyway.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do, but I'm currently taking a bit of a hiatus, as busy as I am with school and such.
Your musical influences
any and all acoustic stuff inspires me (if its good. Particularly guys like Jason Mraz, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Howie Day, Matt Nathanson, and the like. Any artists with a truly unique vibe, as well, like Guster, Nirvana, Norah Jones, or Better Than Ezra. Blues and jazz, in general, have had an influence on my style of writing and playing, as well.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars: a Martin O-15, a Martin 000C-16GTE, a Fender Strat, an Epiphone Del Rey, and a beat-up Epiphone Les Paul Special. Recording Mic: Shure KSM44. Other crap: Yes.
