I'm really into pre-war country blues: Blind Lemon Jefferson, Charley Patton, Blind Willie Johnson etc.I'm listening to "His Blood Can Make You Whole" right now. Willie Johnson is one of my main inspirations.
Thank goodness you don't have his voice, but you've got the slide down cold. His passionate guitar is hard to capture.
