.Boston's Irish Rebel band Erin Og. Following in the footsteps of bands such as Athenrye, Eire Og, Wolfetones, and the Dubliners. We sing the songs of Irelands troubled past and of her bright future. Stuart Peak- Mandolin/Vocals. Bobby- from Boston, vocals and whistle. Steve Gill- vocals and guitar.Band/artist history
Drawing from years of experience playing Irish rebel music, the three members of Érin Og have united together to form a veritable tour-de-force of Irish rebel folk music in the Boston area.
Mixing mandolin, tin whistle, tenor banjo, driving acoustic guitar rhythms, and powerful vocal harmonies, Érin Og has shown their commitment to the great tradition of Irish rebel music by recently performing at such Irish Republican events such as the Bloody Sunday Commemoration at the Plough and Stars in Cambridge, and the Easter Rising and Hungerstrike Commemorations held in South Boston and sponsored by the Boston Irish Northern Aid (INA).Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, all over Boston, and the East coast every weekend. We love the craic! Special moments? Ex Mayor Ray Flynn's speach at our Easter Rising Commemoration at the Blackthorne in South Boston. Being featured on the TV show "Ghost Hunters" at Paddy Reily's in Manhattan, and our 9 show stint at Mandalay Bay Las Vegas!
