Eric Baker
I just released my first solo album after two years of working on it. Also, I'm currently playing in the band National Road which is a four-piece acoustic outfit based in Frostburg, Maryland. Several members of the band contributed to the album.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've played in several bands over the years including rock 'n' roll bands, grunge bands, blues bands, and country bands. I just like to play. I'm currently playing with National Road. We recently released our first CD and are in the process of writing songs for our next one.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, in the Western Maryland area.
Your musical influences
Gram Parsons, Rolling Stones, Beatles. I like most kinds of music with the possible exception of modern mainstream country.
What equipment do you use?
Martin D-28, Fender Stratocaster, Fender Jazz Bass, Roland keyboard, harmonicas.
