Merry CHRISTmas and a Happy New Year to all! Check this out! So sorry for those who receive this multiple times! This year, (because of our lack of funds to get anyone anything tangible hehe) we have recorded a very special CHRISTMAS GIFT for all of you! The EPHESUS CHRISTMAS EP is our way of thanking all the friends, bands and families who have been so supportive of us for the duration of our learning and loving musical experience. The free cd / mp3 download giveaway contains the following 3 tracks: 1. Last (Holi)day – originally composed and performed by our good friends and musical geniuses JM Quiblat of SLEEPWALK CIRCUS and Carlos Tanada of UPDHARMADOWN. While their original song is a fantastic beachy acoustic type of tune, our version is a Christmas song! 2. Step Into The Light – this song won us P10,000 in a recent battle of the bands! 3. WE WON!!! YAHOOO!!!! + UPDATES!!! Last night Ephesus won the grand prize at the battle of the bands/fashion show held in Christ the King, organized by several groups in the parish. We’d like to first thank them (ponzi and Conrad alampay among the many) for the awesome job they did on the show, it was a huge success, and the venue was packed to the gills! It wasn't really the money that made an impact on us, (although P10,000 is NOT BAD AT ALL considering this is our first serious contest won as a band, and there was only 1 winner he he) but being in the presence of God and the friends (jiro, coyki, heather, sacha, rio, yas, carl, ponz, mika, tibbz) that were having a good time made us smile. The crowd was very receptive and rocked out with us, even the older members hahaha! I remember seeing one grandmother bobbing her head!
