eNuminous and Archimedes

eNuminous & Archimedes is a musical project by Matthew Chenoweth Wright (ASCAP) with original lyrical and prose poetry woven together with electronic landscapes to achieve an art of sythesis and vision, recorded in 2005 and 2006 in sessions at invisible caterpillar media studios in Sacramento, CA. "Eyelid/Fetish" and "Citi Zen One" are the first two albums from this "virtual group" which consist of nothing more than Matthew, his trusty computer, a Gateway Pentium III monikered Archimedes, and a variety of softwares and microphones and musical instruments. Born on May 28, 1968, Matthew has quickly grown up into a very diverse human being. He has Asperger's Syndrome. He has strange spots on his hands. He likes cosmology and particle physics. He cannot read music. He doesn't like to follow rules. His music is the creation of the moment, a preformance art, mixed down and honed into a refined product. He doesn't keep any of the parts that go into the whole; after the mold is in disuse, it is then smashed. Imagine a mad scientist dabbling in Graphic Design, Magic, Music, Art, and Poetry, and also keeping cats, creating strange and wonderful things in his secret laboratory in Sacramento. At the time of this writing, his album of music, "Eyelid/Fetish" has been on no charts that he is aware of, and his friends ask him to stop playing it. Parts of it are definately not for most human ears, which is the point. Art isn't always nice. Dissonant nontemporality is sometimes the key to the awakening of new ways of looking at sound. His debut book of poetry, entitled "From Under Eyelids" continues on this theme. He has a calendar of CGI landscape art he created, which is also a big non-seller. His nascent publishing empire, invisible caterpillar media, is in fact in the black, having done work for a Yolo County vineyard, a television production company, several fine artists, an artists cooperative, a San Francisco based talent agency, and most if not all of the marketing materials for the campaign to launch Eyelid/Fetish and Citi Zen One for eNuminous & Archimedes. Yes, very soon, Amazon.com might start to sell some eNuminous & Archimedes CDs. One can only hope.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No. Unless I get a sizable chunk of money for new equipment.
