End of an Era
end of an era is a four piece hardcore/punk band from minneapolis, mn. coming in febuary is the first release a 3 song ep yet to be titled. please check back for more on end of an era as shows and music are being added daily. also check out www.end-of-an-era.com which will be updated extensively in the coming months.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
will had played in many similar bands as lead singer/guitarist/songwriter. paul had played drums for several bands in south africa before relocating to minneapolis of all places. john had played on several ska/punk and metal projects before paul encouraged him to join eoae. eric also had played in a ska band previous to joining eoae.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We will be playing live in the minneapolis/st. paul area in the coming weeks (written feb 1).
Your musical influences
everyone in the band seems to really dig Thrice. we are not quite as metal as they are, though.
What equipment do you use?
we play ugly ass guitars which sound great through our amps that we paid a little more for. except eric--he plays a thunderbird bass through a crappy peavey amp! :-)
