Band/artist history
I started out in early/mid-2002 after my friend Phorty Holmes got me interested by letting me listen to his two CDs(The Kenny Murdock EP and The Valentine's Day LP). I wrote some stupid little cheesy lines down in a notepad(that I've still got) and put it down over some corny ass beats almost immediately. I then threw together the 10 shitty tracks I'd made and put them on a CD called Pimptight Like Whoa. Disasterpeice. This was when I was still just going by En-do. It sounded horrible, though, so I salvaged a few lines here and there that were decent, and threw away the rest of the CD. Then later that summer, I wrote some better stuff, and recorded it and released it to my friends on a 3-track demo CD. The demo, unlike the previous trainwreck that was Pimptight Like Whoa, actually went over pretty well with my friends, so I decided to keep going with it and make my sophomoric CD. So, in September of 2002, I released a 10-track album called "End Yo' Life", which was also a hit among friends. Looking back on it now, it was almost as much of a trainwreck as Pimptight Like Whoa was, but it showed a lot more potential on certain songs - mainly "Canvas". My third CD, "Semblance of Sanity" was completed in the summer of 2006, which was off the charts in comparison to anything I'd done before. It features three collaborations, which is something I hadn't done before. The first being the first song on the album, called "Put It Through Ya" which straight gangsta, by myself and Phorty Holmes, collectively known as the Gangsta Crackas Wit Attitudes. The second collab was with DZK on "Talking To The Wall" which was just random thoughts and humor. The third being a collab with rock band Dark Yellow, which actually features me singing and not rapping. This entire album was more about me than anything I've done before... songs about my love for the microphone, songs about love for the people who love me, songs about hate for the people who hate me, there's even a song I wrote for my neice on there. It's July of '08 now, and I'm currently about 3/4 finished with my fourth album, which is going to be called "Not The Same Me". This album is coming off of living on my own in the real world, going through things I haven't gone through before, and learning from everything I've seen - and my reflections on all three of those things. There's going to be a little bit of gangsta on it, maybe a little singing... but mostly it's just me being me. There are a few songs about some females I've been involved with, a few songs about problems I've had(both situational and medicinal). I'd say this album is going to be a little more spiteful than anything I've done before, but it's also going to reflect more realism, most certainly. Like I said, I'm about 3/4 through with it, but I don't know yet when it'll be complete. I'm taking my time with this project. I've got a few of the songs from it uploaded on here though.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I always rap live for my friends. Me and Kevlar are always getting twisted and writing/spitting shit we write.
Your musical influences
Shit... Jadakiss, Master P, Snoop Dogg, White/Rob Zombie, Powerman 5000, ICP, CunninLynguists... lots of different people. I'd say I have a lot of influence by Twiztid. And honestly I'd be lying if I said I wasn't influenced by 40.
What equipment do you use?
Cool Edit Pro 2.
Anything else?
Like my shit? Bump it, and pass it on, nyucca!
