Hailing from Waterbury, CT, Emptyeye is in fact one 21-year old musician who plays or sings every part on his songs through one means or another. Primarily a bassist, he also sings, plays guitar and uses the magic of technology to place drums into his tracks.
Unlike most artists, Emptyeye chooses to commit career suicide by actively staying away from the common 4/4 time signature whenever possible, in true progressive-rock tradition. Yet unlike most proggers, he also eschews the typical three-minute solo sections of the typical prog-rock song, making his music a true enigma.Have you performed in front of an audience?Being just one person writing complete songs, it's difficult to play them live.

They change daily. Presently bands like Rush, Yes, Dream Theater, Symphony X.I just listened to Time Marches On... I must say, I quite liked it... There was some loud crackling in my headphones, but other than that, it was pretty good... I must say, you sound pretty good with the accoustic there...Hey, I'm checking out your stuff now... I'm currently listening to Augmented Sludge...
Well, I'm hoping that this isn't your best track... The vocals don't seem to have much feeling to me... I also think that the keyboards (or whatever the instrument beside the bass is) are kinda annoying... Anyways, I'll listen to your other stuff to see if I like it more...
Heh, the Ultra Br00tal Metal Song came up... Lol, I know someone else who makes fake death metal songs, and I must say that the instrumentation on this one is better than his stuff... I don't think your vocals are br00tal enough though, but hey, it's just a joke, eh? ;) I like the lyrics, lol!
Listening to Fundamentally Wrong... Pretty cool opening bass riff there... Once again, I must say that your vocals don't do much for me... The verses almost remind me of my radio voice, lol! My singing voice definitely sounds different than my radio voice, I must add...
Anyways, I do think that the instruments on this aWhat can I say??? Thanks to Mr Gilmore (who pointed me in your drection) I have heard all your work and I like what I hear. You have a nice sense of the sardonic!!! There are not many truly original artists left out there, it's nice to find one at last!!!All comments (5)
