Emcee SloMo

Born in Arizona, raised in California, specifically the Bay Area. I've been involved with music my whole life & by choice I haven't bound myself to one specific style or genre. I've been a part of a couple bands (Rock/Metal/Hip Hop), along with an experienced DJ crew. Everything I've been a part of, I've always strived to make it to the live show & music production level. The experience alone has been worth it to me & I don't regret any of my past projects that I've done & been a part of since I've put in nothing but one hundred percent. My family has been involved in the music scene and specifically Hip Hop ever since I could remember. My uncle has mixed and learned with the best, traveling and performing with acts such as "DJ Q-Bert" & in-turn passed down his knowledge of the game to me & my family. After finishing High School, everyday life basically became repetitive in the bay & once I was able to gather the means & ability to leave; I did. I moved out of the Bay & down to Southern California, OC territory to be exact, not too far from L.A., Long Beach, Anaheim, or even San Diego. Livin' in the land of opportunity I was slowly able to get on my feet and build my home production studio & continue music. Hip hop has always been the backbone of my life & I intend to make an imprint in the game as much as it has made an imprint in my life. Currently I am in the progress of writing and producing music, and once setup I am looking forward to sharing my music with the world.

Sl0m0 history: Created in 2005 by me, myself, and I. Writing process and ideas also began at that time, since then I have been in the process of learning music production and home studio creation. From 2007 to 2008 I was on a music hiatus due to the work grind, I was able to manage a job at one of the biggest gaming companies in the world "Blizzard Entertainment" and then was offered a better job position by another company so I took it. Starting from around the end of 2009, due to my advance in my work status; I have managed to be lucky enough to have the free time to proceed with my music endeavors; and with the same ambition as my past projects I assure you I fully intend to do what I gotta do to make it.

In the past, with my live band projects I did play live and also short toured around the bay area at clubs, colleges, and shows; and there was plenty of special moments. At this time, in regards to my Hip Hop project I haven't been able to play live. I am more focused on producing records and getting my music out as soon as possible.

I have many influences from many genres, I can't name any of them since I feel like I would be leaving someone out. You understand.
