First & foremost, I'd just like to say that I came up with the name 'Jay-Dee' before I ever knew about J-Dilla (R.I.P).. I fell in love with hip-hop about five years ago... I'm currently putting a few songs together for my demo.

Performed at two local talent shows...my first performance was pretty crazy...loved the crowd response...even had some old lady shout "yeah Jay-Dee!" after the show when I was on my way to tha restroom & thought..i could get used to that...except maybe next time it'd be great if the lady wasn't so old. The second talent show was disappointing...nothin to do with me, but the sound guys had my beat up way too high and it really drowned out the mic..so that sucked, but I every time I go on stage, I learn something new so whether the outcome is good or bad it doesn't really matter because I gain more experience as a performer.
