We are Embryo, formally known as mercenary. Thats what everyone know's us as. Have to use a new name on this site. But are original name is Mercenary.
Band/artist history
We have played as mercenary for the past three year's or so. Played all over tulsa and the states around us. The band started a while back with the singer Jon and the drummer John L. Later on the guitarist frog joined up and recorded an album with the band.

I've just joined soundclick.com and was surprised to learn that there's another band here registered as "Embryo". Not meaning any disrespect but I'd like to inform you that my band is also known as embryo and we've been called this since the early 90's. Although we play a more atmospheric version of rock based music I'm also a fan of the artists listed as your influence in fact I had a chance to meet and interview Yngwie Malmsteen recently when he came by Singapore recently for the "Attack" tour. He was wonderful and the show was great.
