Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Blues guitarist/singer/composer Elmo Preston has been playing the blues in Chicago for over two decades, with people like Billy Branch, Lefty Dizz, Sugar Blue, Homesick James, Magic Slim, Otis Rush, and others.
Now he has his own band, which reflects many of these influences.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I play live ussually around the mid west area. I also take the music to the caribbean once a year on tour.
Your musical influences
Elmo's Fire Blues Band a Chicago blues band.Elmo was a member of the house band in the internationally famous Kingston Mines. He learned the blues from the blues masters. He followed and asked the Blues God to teach him, chronicled their life histories and playing styles, and some became his teachers and mentors.
Arbert King, Fredie King and BB KIng are strong influences.
Played with:Otis Rush, Sugar Blue, Billy Branch,Big Time Sarah, Homesick James, Lefty Dizz,Majic Slim, Son Seals, ect.
Indeed a legendary Chicago blues journeyman who has truly paid his dues.
