Elliot Holden
Guitar-Driven Instrumental Fusion, "Complex. Colorful Harmonies". Comparable to Jeff Beck / Eric Johnson.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Elliot Holden is a dude just trying to make it. I do everything myself (website, promotions, recording and other administrative bull%$#@) becuase no else has believed in me enough to invest their time or money. But I've learned so much over the last couple of years. 1st - there are people out there that REALLY do enjoy my music, enough to actually pay for it. 2nd - I have the total creative freedom to do whatever the &%#@! I want and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Always playing live somewhere. Highlights have included opening shows for Chris Duarte, Sonny Landreth, Col. Bruce Hampton and the Code Talkers, Derek Trucks Band, and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
Your musical influences
