Have you performed in front of an audience?

Right Now I'm mostly doing Open Mics to get a "feel" for performing to an audience. I've performed before, but it's a completely different feeling when the words you are singing are your own.

Your musical influences

I am a lover of music and in my opinion if you really love music, you open yourself up to all different types.  I have a special fondness for 70s music, whether it's Disco, Funk, or Classic Rock.  I love Dance Music, specifically Electro and Disco House.  But I was raised on Motown, Soul, and AM Radio (Barry Manilow, Fifth Dimension, Beatles, etc).  

A few of my Musical Heroes are Jimmy Hendrix, Nina Simone, Peter Rauhofer, David Morales, Earth, Wind & Fire, Parliament, Pink Floyd, Rage Against the Machine, Led Zepp., Lennon, and there are hundreds of others.
