ENC is short for Elite Nautical Collection, you could also say ENC stands for madhattr and mogs. Mogs raps on and co-produced on random tracks of the first album. He's got a vocal presense on the track with clear cut wordplay and flips between emo (This Town) induced licks and just plain old rapstar shit talk(No Ones Stoppin Us Now). Madhattr is the main producer for the group having his hands on every beat on the album except for rabbit holes (track 15). He also grips a mean mic reciting everything from self reflective lyrics(3rd Person Perspective) to love songs about hip hop (I do what I do). Together, they deliver insight, understanding, bullshit, love, hate, nostalgia, all with creative harmony and perfect chemistry.

Their self-titled debut album released on spraypainted CDR's was the product of 6 years or so of mogs and mad hat working together on and off, scrapping entire albums, noise complaints, relocation, falling outs, reunions, getting drunk, high, lost, found and whatever else two young teenage kids can manage to get into living in the country. Though they had been together as a group for 6 years by the time of the release, the actual release only features recording made in the year before the album dropped. Most of the album was recorded in Sarnia during madhattr's useless year in college, and the last track recorded was indeed recorded at the bungalow in London, On. The record covers a wide range of moods, happy, sad, and things like that with much focus on lyrical content and noddability. Though the recording and mixing isn't the best quality in the world, this is definately a worth while listen.
