Eliana Gilad trained and released her voice on the inner city trains of Paris, France. She left her business career behind in Los Angeles to live more correct to her hearts desire.
On an inner call, she moved to Israel in 1994 upon the signing of the Israeli-Palestinian Peace Accords with "inner marching orders" to open a healing music center in the Galilee (in a green place where one sees blue), make music - east-west, use computers and focus Southward.
She studied Eastern Classical Music at Bar Ilan University which is where she met Samir Makhoul, the violinist. Harpist Sunita Staneslow performed Celtic Music at a folk club that Eliana attended and it was love at first hearing. Sunita and Eliana perform healing music for premature babies every two weeks in the neonatal ward of Meir Hospital (50/50% Jewish-Arab).
