Eleven Twenty
1120 (Eleven-Twenty) - not only are we from the same company (Tyco International), but we are all in the same department (Tax). We all work a lot (except for Tommy - he doesn't work that hard). We are true amateurs (ok, Tommy & Timmy did play in bands in their younger days, but mostly for beer) but that should be pretty obvious from the music playing.
We came together last year in William's basement where we play once a week or so - and drink beer (except for Emily - she prefers champagne). We've played a couple of gigs at company functions and, all humility aside, we pretty much rocked the place (let's say that expectations were a bit low and we exceeded them).
At our last gig we had the entire management team there. Wow. Potentially embarassing and career-limiting. However, we did our thing and made a pretty damn good impression - especially for a bunch of hard-working tax geeks (except for Tommy).
