Electric Mud Generator

Electric Mud Generator are a band that started under strange circumstances. We began on the back of a failed attempt into the research of manning the first delay pedal that would actually be based remotely on Mars and controlled on Earth. It would have input all passing sound frequencies to and from earth and fed them back in a quantum loop, thus creating a gravitational pull to our lab in Ilkley. Sadly, this failed, but we lived past it and now specialise in playing music and drinking real ale. We try to play psychedelic space rock but we love to groove... We try to riff, but we love to indulge... Life throws few harder choices at humanity than this, we can assure you. We've played with bands ranging from Gonga, Tetchi, Pelican, Eric Sardinas (!!) through to loads of bands in Leeds we enjoy, over the course of about 4 years. We have an album out called The Sun Will Rise.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We combine rabid monkey wails with gargantuan prehistoric frog burps, all through the mindeye of a 20 foot piglet with lightbulbs cutting up it's insides and spilling out everywhere. A right mess. Jon and Dunc met in a guitar shop or something. Jon met Rick in a pub and promptly gave him a 2 day hangover.
