elation
Elation is the collaboration of Amy Ketchum and Matt Parmenter with the intention of making funky music a little different from the norm that the people can groove to!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
A collaboration that started in mid 2000 and launched in Nov. 2000 at our first show after the break-up of my previous working project. We have made several changes over 2 years by adding additional musicians on stage and new elements to the music bringing it from electronica to jazzy/funky rock grooves with live instruments and organic sounds.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Elation has played several gigs in the Cincinnati, OH area ranging from duo to trio to a full 5 piece band.
