"Everyday I do my King Biscuit Time Show I hear, see and meet new faces in the blues field. I don't like to single any one person out, but in this case there is no way for me to skip one of the most important and up and coming guitar and harmonica players that will make you sit up and take notice. His name is Elam McKnight."---Sunshine Sonny Payne, Host King Biscuit Time
"This is an album packed with good vibes and feeling, raw and passionate. Catch Elam now before a big label signs him and smooths him out too much--Dave Drury, BLUES MATTERS

(5 out of 5 stars) One of the best and most authentic debuts I have heard in a while! Elam McKnight brings new energy and emotion to an art form that is reinventing itself. The acoustic songs show versatility in his style and playing. Would really like to see him live andletting loose on these Blues! Joining forces with Elam McKnight is Harmonica virtuoso Keith Carter who comes to the states from Great Britain. Keith Carter has performed with numerous blues artists including U.K. blues icon Georgie Fame, modern blues star Keb Mo, and Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame inductees TheYardbirds, whose roster at one time or another included Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck. Some of the best and brightest have said of Keith Carter, You are better than any harmonica player that I have heard in the States. Tim Boyking, Guitarist of the Year in Alabama 2001. Cant wait for a new album, for more great playing. Mick Pini, Voted Best Blues Guitarist in Europe. Keith is a welcome addition and he and Elam are prepared to get out there and tour wherever the "Deep Blues" is needed. Read some insights from those who have had the pleasure of witnessing Mr. Carter's skillfulness on his instrument of choice:
Great Blues harmonica players are becoming very scarce. Keiths abilities, particularly in the realm of acoustic blues are practically without peer. Acoustic blues is one of our great American art forms, an art form that is gradually becoming extinct.
Kenny Mullins has fronted for and toured with legendary performers such as Chuck Berry, Bonnie Raitt, Doc Watson, Willie Nelson and Iggy Pop.
Keith Carter is a fine sensitive harp player recalling the low down and swinging East Coast piedmont style ala Sonny Terry, Buddy Moss and Jordan Webb and moans with the best of them! Keith listens and plays with his fellow musicians like a true Rural Blues man, a rare quality indeed in todays climate of blasting extended electric guitar solos."
