HipHop was about originality and skill. Now it only seems to be about commersializm and materializm. HipHop was my father, my teacher, my mentor. But now, most of the top artists in rap have no skill or understanding of the power of HipHop. What you say will influence the youth as it did for me. I just want to take HipHop back to where being the BEST meant you truly had lyrical skill not how much money you have or how many records you sold. You never heard KRS ONE or RAKIM talk about how many records they sold. If I can't feel what you're talkin' about, I don't listen. I create what I like to hear, I don't do this for fans I do this for ME.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play all over Minnesota, but my favorite is in North Branch. The fans treat me like I'm famous already and they always show love.
