Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
After 2 years of hard work Egocentrik finally got his first solo
debute album in the run. 18 out of almost 50 recorded tracks
made it on the cd. The result is an extra-ordinarry LP which
reflects Egos view on Hip Hop, life and all sorts of more or less
common topics. Being an MC for more than 10 years Ego made
enough experience to supply a wide range of different styles.
Otherwise than a lot of rappers Ego switches his delivery from
track to track,from smooth flows to agressive flows.
Ego has been seen on countless jams flippin his styles.
Even in London at WKD.So he has been seen supporting artists
such as the Pharcyde or Afu Ra.
He also been collaborating with many artists.
In Germany with MB 1000, Spax, Siamak, Burns Bros,
Kabelage, Big Ali, D-Strong and Morten. On the production
side with people like DJ Brisk Fingaz who produced the
majority of his recent LP, DJ Lord Wax, Benja, DJ CSP,
Macadoshis, DJ Gunzales, Stereo Type, Jubeko and many more.
From the UK he worked with Noz and his crew 21EyeZ,
Eastborn (one of Scotlands finest), Blood&Jonez and in the
near future there gonna be more projects. Ego will be working
with a whole bunch of new and hungry MCs such as Luv Jones,
Elocute, Illicit, Verbal Remedy and Roofio just to name a few.
