EG

E.G. was born in Harlem, New York just 22 years prior to the now tragically memorable day of the World Trade Center disaster. Although September 11th 2001 marks a day of great loss, September 11th 1979 was a great day for the future of hip-hop.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well Big Player Ent. right now consists of two artists. One is myself and two is my producer Chi. Between the two of us we have done a few things. I have been on an album by Jay Black, performed at the local 506(Chapel Hill, NC), Performed on the Larry Pickett Show(LP17), and done numeours other perfomances in NYC. Chi, as a producer has worked with many local artist in NYC and Durham NC. He did The tribute to BIG PUN record by Cuban Link, called Flowers For The Dead, for Atlantic records and a few other projects here and there.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I perform mostly in NC's triangle area as well as a few spots downtown Manhattan, NY. I love live shows! I love the crowds energy.
Your musical influences
Big Daddy Kane was the artist that made me want to do what I do now. Since then Ive been influenced by dudes like, Nas, Jay-Z, and others.
What equipment do you use?
My Producer chi uses an MPC 2000, a Roland 3080 synth Module, and a Korg Trinity Keyboard.
