Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
All we have to say about our history is that we have always been into music. Junaid learned how to play the piano on his own, and has been doing it since before he was ten. I, Jam, on the other hand, have been producing drum loops and different types of synthesized sounds since the nineth grade. Our combined talents allow us to put together a whole new sound for people to enjoy.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We produce beats, therefore haven't played live.
Your musical influences
We have been inspired by many hip hop producers such as: Dr. Dre, Primo, P.Diddy, Neptunes, Timbaland.
Our RnB/Pop influences include: Teddy Riley, R Kelly, Boyz 2 Men, 112, Aaliyah, Tamia, Usher, Michael Jackson, Ginuwine and many more.
What equipment do you use?
We use Fruity Loops, Goldwave, and have tried Soundforge, AcidPro, and Cakewalk for software use. For composing, we use a Yamaha PSR-740 Keyboard and occasionally an acoustic Guitar.
