Edward The Enigma
Edward The Enigma is a filmaker, recording artist, and painter. He grew up in a ghetoo right outside of Philly named Chester, Pennsylvania. While living thier he face some ridicule and discrimination. Not because the quaility of his character, simply because the pigment of his skin. Living in a Area 99% black he was exposed to hip hop at a very young age. At first he associated this music with the people that hated him. He drew constenly and loved acting. In 8th grade at his Middle School he was doing a play for a local company called "Rights of Passage." It is this experince that would first expose him to the art of molding words into discitinve vibes exposeing love and hatred, fallicies and truth. They asked him to write a few lines for a rap portion of the program, discussing the labels were forced to love and the sterotypes we all endure. He wrote a few sentences during the production of the beat that was used. He spoke of the labels were forced to love by the media, It went like " the rich know how to grip the youth of today with fear, bring individuality to tears and clone all of ur pers , the makers make more money the buyer simply endure, the everpreasent chore of the walking billboard." And thus he wrote his first metaphor. Opening day came and was at his school. The first half went of without a hitch and then the 2nd part came, the porition with his verse. Thinking everyone will laugh he decided he had to explode onto the stage, make his presence felt by everyone. Looking into the sea of his classmates he spit his verse perfectly. Tremendous applause swept threw the audience, almost in disbelief in what happen. This happened at every showing, at every school, he was always one of the only white kids in the room, yet they took when he layed down his verse seriousally. This would leave to a great love the art of Hip Hop, eventually even above all his other passions. His words are Testament to the disbeliever, a warning for the light hearted.
