Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
E.D. Miles began his journey in to music production at the tender age of 8 when after listening to hit songs on the radio decided he wanted to be a music producer when he grew up. At the time he had no musical training, but he was determined to pursue a career as a music producer. He worked on music production on and off for 4 years, but an event occured in his life that caused him to seriously focus on music. It was at this point that the E.D. Miles instrumental brand was born. At the age of 12 he was making instrumentals for local rappers in his middle school. At age 14 he made he entered high school with a solid list of production credits. As he got older his instrumentals only got better and his acclaim grew as well. E.D. Miles saw the effect his music was having on the people that listened to it and they loved it. They danced and sang and rapped to it and it was then that E.D. Miles made it his mission to make music that would satisfy the people that listened to it. E.D. Miles decided that the his instrumental brand would need to branch out in to other genres of music in order to affect the most people so he began to study every genre of music possible. The end result is a brand of instrumentals that encompass the musical tastss of a multitude of people and have a special touch that stands distinguished from the typical beats of others.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I generally don't play live since I like the scenery behind the scenes, but I sometimes do on request. I love to play live because I like gauging the crowd reaction to my instrumentals and whatever vocalist or lyricist I'm backing with them.
