Ernesto Diaz-Infante is one of the most interesting improvisors (alive) in the world today.
Rotcod Zzaj met him (via the net) in 1996 or so...
After exchanging various CD's and tapes, it was clear that they "spoke" the same musical language... this CD is the first in a series of about 16 that they have performed on together
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, we have played live studio sessions together (Zzaj Productions "In The Shadow" studios), and in the 2002 Olympia Experimental Music Festival.
We genuinely DO love playing in front of folks... especially when we are able to communicate with the audience... THOSE are the special moments, to be sure.
There is some discussion about Zzaj flying down to San Francisco to play there with various & sundry folks, though nothing is firm at this time
Your musical influences
John Cage, peyote tribal rites, other cultural anomalies
What equipment do you use?
4-track (TASCAM) and Cool Edit
