Band/artist history

Edgardo Lopez Paredes was born on September 17, 1951 in San Pedro Sula. As a teenager he went to Tegucigalpa to finish his studies. He started playing there in 1963, taking his first lessons with Arnulfo "El ñurdo" Castro, a master bassist from the famous band LOS JET. When he came back to his hometown he formed LOS FLIPPERS with some friends. After that he played also with LOS SUPREMOS and LOS ROBBIN'S in their San Pedro based period, along with the extraordinaire singer MOISES CANELO. Edgardo started playing bass in 1969 and he did never leave it anymore. In the early 70's he spent four years living in New York city, playing with the heavy rock band JOSHUA. After that he returned to his country and joined LA BANDA BLANCA, perhaps the best known honduran band to date.
