EDEN WEINT IM GRAB
Eden Weint Im Grab is a German studio-project around Sascha Blach. The music is dedicated to Dark-/Death Metal with morbid German lyrics, but this can change all the time;-) We try to catch the spirit of the moment and today doesn't determine tomorrow. The band was started around 2000 with a different name, laid to rest, brought to life again and in 2004 finally the debutalbum "Traumtrophäen Toter Trauertänzer" was recorded and released online... completely for free download because we were pissed off by the whole music industry and what we wanted was to reach the people not earn a lot of money... and in fact we reached the people... and they liked it. It was overwhelming, so many guestbook entries and E-Mails by people that were quite impressed by the record.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No, EwiG does NOT play live! It's a studio project.
Your musical influences
Everything and nothing. I don't see EwiG as a part of any particular scene, although our music tends toward Dark/Goth/Death-Metal but we try to break rules all the time and do our own thing instead of copying other bands. Our private tastes are not limited to any special style.
What equipment do you use?
a computer, a guitar, a rough voice and of course a mad brain...
