'Diggin For Love' 'Diggin For Love'
This is a silly little acoustic rock ragtime ditty with the acoustic guitar in open E-flat tuning.
'Runaway Train' 'Runaway Train'
'Runaway Train' is a hooky infectuous guitar rock thing with an intelligent arrangement and strong female vocal.
Shining Light Shining Light
Shining Light is dedicated to all the brave young souls who've put themselves into harms way for the greater good. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and a special place in heaven reserved for you !
I'm basically a guitar player who does instrumental work, solo stuff with vocals and songwriting in various genres. My latest work is with Susan Lowery for a band called Foxxymoron.Band/artist history
Eddie Mundane plays guitar, bass, keyboards and does some drum sequencing. Wendy and Susan do the singing mostly but Eddie does some as well. We've used many different musicians for live and recorded drums, Mick K., Dan Marfisi(good producer as well), Drew Barker(Runaway Train), Reggie Perrin(Scheherazade Twist). Tony Jacques plays sax on the acoustic version of 'Runaway Train'. Dan Marfisi co-produced 'Drowning' with me and played all the instruments.Have you performed in front of an audience? We do concerts locally but only occasionally due to the fragmented locations of the players. For ie: Wendy is in Alaska, Susan is in L.A., I'm in Montana etc. Playing for a live audience is really what it's all about. I can remember a very cold recording session for Wendy's 'Free' where she was actually wearing mittons during the session. She is an amazing live performer frequently leaving the stage, really going for it, never singing in an easy key ...just great energy and enthusiasm !
Your musical influences
I personally love great intstrumental rock guitarists and any music/song that makes a strong effective statement. I know this is rather vague but purposely so. People should experience music without pre-conceived notions or labels. What equipment do you use?
My equipment changes frequently and I think this helps you from relying too much on one thing. I use EMU sound chips for keys, Fender Stratocasters with varying pickup configurations. I've got a few bass guitars(Ibanez/ESP) with active electronics. The keyboard sounds I play with an 88 key midi controller.Anything else?
I basically like music that makes a statement but not so much pop trendy stuff although I do go there somewhat ocassionally, 'Free', 'Drowning'. For me it's more about the music than it is about the words. Songs can educate, they can make you feel happy, they can make you feel sad or they can make you admire the craftsmanship. I like music that tries to go somewhere and is widely diverse, even if it defies categorization.

Everyone who listens and feels the notion is welcome to post and I appreciate any feedback or questions you may have. Mick K. was the drummer who came up with the name Foxxymoron (I know that wasn't real clear on the front page). Thanx ...
