Long time friends just looking to get some music into the world for the love of all kinds of music. And express ourselves in our own way.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have played live, but not with this side project. I play live in SF with the band Sapien. But now we are called SoundEater, the new name for my band. My band SoundEater has played shows at Yerba Buena Center, Union Square and some local recreational centers in San Francisco.
Your musical influences
Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Tal Morris, Lindsey Boult, Jeff Beck, Sons of Chaplin, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Peter Frampton, The Outlaws...And also anything that really sounds good and fun to dance to, even though I almost hate to dance. My friend...James. He is a DJ, and I envy his skill at that because I have no clue on how to do what. He can do as well as a young woman that I know named Dawn! She is actually very musically inclined for her age... You can read more about these people in the group members' page. But I heard that they changed the group members pages on this website epidemic for bands called SoundClick. So just read more about me on there.
What equipment do you use?
I use a Gibson Les Paul 4 the Studio, Custom Fender Stratocaster from Scratch, Ibanez Jem, Martin Custom "semi-hallow" livewire cables, Bad Horsie 2 Wah-Wah Pedal, Digitech RP200, and the Banshee Talk Box. Along with VOX amplification. And also...A SUNN P.A. system + Peavey Monitors. And I record with an Apple computer using Apple Garage Band 2.
Anything else?
I right now am, playing in a band...The Nocturnal Rock Turtles. Check the link above.
I remember when I saw you record this song with Shawn like 3 years ago at your place! Good work. Keep it up and come back to music soon, George. :)
