Eclypsis
Eclypsis is the only band in Montreal playing rock-pop-metal music with a female lead singer. The lead singer, who has an angelic voice, has been classically trained and can sing both classical and pop. The influences of Eclypsis are numerous and includes classical music, old rock, progressive rock and/or metal as well as pop like Linkin Park and Evanescence.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Eclypsis was first formed in early january of 2005 by Guillaume Leduc-Lévesque and Anne Gauvin-Meunier, both wanting to form a group. After an exhaustive search for other musicians, Guillaume recruited Sam Lemieux-Cadieux from his other band. The trio became a quintet at the end of june with the addition of the bassist Mia Zbikowski and guitarist Nader Zeid. From thereon the band officially began in july 2005.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
