Eclipse In Paradise
"Eclipse In Paradise is a one-man art/music project expressing the powerful emotions and ideals of Indo-European Heathen culture and the beauty to be found in every part of our natural environment."
Band/artist history
The project started of with the temporary name "Odyssey". An expression of the aim of the music. The songs/album would be a long, eventful voyage of discovery for both the composer and listener. It was later decided to change to a more original, relevent (and perhaps less cheesy) name. In winter, the sun is hidden from the earth, preventing the occurence of summer (the "paradise" referred to in the name). This name reflects the changing of seasons and life cycles found in nature. The demo, currently being recorded, tells the story of this annual cycle. It is told through 4 chapters (4 seasons), from a pagan point of view (i.e. starting with the death in autumn and ending in new life with summer). There are also personal stories, experiences, ideas and visions among the lyrics.
