Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?

Never played with a band before, but always wanted to play with one. Turns out that it was providential that she wasnt noticed by anyone else before. After her rendition of Uriah Heep's July Morning, she just proved to be the cause of envy for every band that's been cursing mumbai for its sorry keyboard scene. The latest entrant into the band, Swapna has a lot to contribute to the shaping of the Echoes sound.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We only play live. But recently we've been rather kicked about getting some of our original material out on CDs. So that sees us frequenting recording studios more often. Otherwise, we are regulars at Not Just Jazz by the Bay in Mumbai along with most major events, expos and fests.

Classic Rock mostly: Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Ozzy, ZZ Top, Joe satriani, Gary Moore, Jethro Tull, The Police, Indus Creed, Scorpions...
What equipment do you use?
Some of the best. You'll find Ibanez, Fender, Epiphone, Boss, Digitech, Marshall, Yamaha and many other brands under Echoes' hood. Good equipment just enhances your creative expression.
