Ebony Diamond
Hello, I go by the name of Ebony Diamond, I recently started making music and I hope you like it.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Born on September 30th 1988 in the Gambia (West Africa) and then moving to Senegal a few months later, Ndeye Seck was influenced by a lot of musicians in her family, she loved listening to music though never could play an instrument. During her infant years when she wouldnt keep quiet her sister used to play music to her which would soothe her and stop her from crying at all time. Coming from a family of musicians they've really influenced her in her music and she takes it as something fun and a stress reliever. Ndeye never thought about pursuing a music career until at the age of 13 when she was involved in little teen music groups put together by her and friends. Ndeye started writing rhymes and poetry at the age of 13, and now she decided to put them into action by using instrumentals and recording them at home, in her free and private time. She doesnt think of music as being a career choice for her but more as a hobby than a job. She is almost out of high school and she hopes to become a pediatric nurse, while being in a N.A program in her high school since her freshman year. Ebony currenty lives in Staten Island where she has been from when she first moved to America. Staten Island is a boring place for her so she has hopes of moving somewhere where its more alive.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have not played anywhere live yet but I am looking forward to it.
