The arrangement unfolds with a natural ease, guiding the listener through a more immersive experience. Listeners into Hiphop and R&B will find this track a natural fit within their rotation.
EBI, born Ebrahiem Inglisman and also referred to as E.B. or The Inglisman is a singer, rapper, songwriter, producer as well as a radio dj, scriptwriter, voice artist & MC.
Add to the long list of duties, EBI, is also a devoted husband and father of 2. EBI has been writing songs since the age of 10 and developed a love for all types of music over the years. His 1st love was hip hop but as time went on and he met different people and worked in various spheres of entertainment, he started appreciating all genres and all of them have had an influence in the way he writes his songs today.
Now there are hints of RnB, Soul, Pop, Rock, Jazz and even Classical in some of his songs.
During his high school years, he realised that he would want to pursue a career in music and entertainment and was involved in 2 boybands (Inferno, DeJa Vu) but EBI was always destined to do it solo. After the breakup of his 1st group, he started on a solo album and was still in production when he joined DeJa Vu and for their last album, Showtime, most of the songs from what would have been his 1st solo album, were used on Showtime.
It took over 10 years for his 1st solo effort to bear fruit and now it is finally here in the form of The Inglisman EP. The 1st single from the EP, MR DJ, was released on 10 July 2012.
A 5 track EP that talks of the struggles of being an artist as well as a radio DJ and managing home life. All the pressures of wanting to make a success of your passion versus being realistic about putting food on the table. EBI felt it was best to be honest and let the chips fall where they may. "I'm not going for radio singles or club hits, I'm just telling the story. Like it, love it or hate it; at least I was being true to myself. The objective was to express. I'm at a point in my life where I don't really care about ratings or numbers"EBI
