Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Anwan ONE Ekpo and Shaun Trap Lynch are two amazingly talented producers who individually are already recognized and now collectively are doing so much more.
Built from the ground upThe Brick Layers are a duo cemented in talent and confidence. When called for, both are known to push the limits when building a track, making fresh new beats, never afraid to creatively blur the lines drawn between music genres by the general public. With their years of experience, their gift of creativity and their obvious dedication to making quality music, The Brick Layers is unlike any production team anywhere. They keep their ears to the ground and their minds wide open, because according to them Its the only way to keep re-inventing and evolvewere trendsetters
Whether as individuals or as a team, the two are known for their abilities to personalize sounds for others. And their own personal sound has been known to draw many to them. Their extensive catalogue is one sign that they are undeniably capable of making music in all genres. To date, theyve been involved in numerous major projects. The Brick Layers have been involved in and are known for their sound design skills, and each is also well-known for leaving their mark in the Rock, Soul, Hip Hop and Adult Contemporary circuit. They contributed to the fast growing market of fitness DVDs and produced all the music for a Dancercise video featuring Tre Armstrong (How She Move). The music for the DVD was requested to be up-tempo, unique and command movement, and as always The Brick Layers delivered.
The Brick Layers are able to give their clients exactly what they are asking for, and their results will continue to be astounding. Authentic.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live in the production of musical tracks. We don't perform as a group as yet.
