Early Modern Europe
La Révolution Glorieuse
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
In 2002, Alan left Ithaca, USA, for the Philosophy faculty at Brighton, UK. Thierry left Rennes for Paris IV. Cyril left Marseille for a café in Ile-de-France. Max stayed with his mother in Marseille. Alan met Thierry at a conference. Thierry met Cyril at the café. Two abandoned degrees, a dozen arguments, and three fist-fights later, Modern Europe formed in 2004 (sans Max), only to break up after six months. In the summer of 2006, Alan and Thierry agreed to move with Cyril back to Marseille and try again, this time with Max. This reformation, as Early Modern Europe, has stuck.
