Life:
Dysmay born Dustin"Dysmay"Baugher was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 17th 1990. Moving at a young age to where he now resides in what he considers to be his home town Kansas City, Kansas. Gowing up with a younger sister and brother he didnt have a very easy childhood. Coming across the law in several occurences through middle school and high school he learned quick to either abide by the rules or make sure that he didnt get caught. Starting ealry in middle school what started out as a hobby became his passion. While attending Washington High he began to become serious about his music and wanted to make a career of it.
Music:
Charlie Parker once said "Music is your own experience, your thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out" Dysmay read this early in his years of music and chose to make this statement true! For years the right name to express himself never seemed to just come to him. Changing from names such as Fame, 2 Tone, Delinquent, and other petty names until one day at a freestyle session in 3rd lunch after he had had his turn a teacher listening in said that the people were in udder Dismay at the way he chose his words and phrases putting together what most would not be able to do. The word seemed to be perfect due from that point on he carried on as the word that described so much DYSMAY meaning to cause to lose courage or resolution (as because of alarm or fear). Creating a group with a childhood friend Grady"Mac'sa Million" Manning known as Killa City Committee (KCC) included members Yung Creep, Dysmay, and Mac'sa Million. After releasing there first album "The Redemption" the group had a falling out ending up in a fight between Dysmay and Mac'sa Million. Afterwards he went solo releasing 7 mixtapes "The Redemption pt.2" "I'm Back" "Kansas City Nightmare" "Me Against Da World" "I'm Famous" "Sik Wit It" and "Relentless" gaining recognition locally and in other parts from his single "Where We From" spreading through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and many other areas. Also spreading his name into another areas including Canada with a song featuring another local artist known as Yung Ja "What it iz" Now working on his first offical DEMO..through promotions and shows... just know that the future is Dysmay and there is now other.....
